Madigan made... a pumpkin dessert dip.
Pumpkin: Nothing else tastes quite like 'fall'.
(I love pumpkin! If you follow me on Twitter, you already know that last night I enjoyed a pumpkin spice coffee.)
Have you ever tried Coldstone's ice cream pumpkin pie? Yum.
That pie is so smooth. It has a creamy, mild pumpkin flavor.
Even if you do not like pumpkin pie, I'm telling you, you will like that pie.
You will be the hit of the party if you bring that pie to your next fall party.
It is worth the splurge... unless you want to. eat. it. all. the. time.
So, if you do not feel like spending close to $20 for a pie (or spending that many calories),
I am pleased to report that this fluffy dessert is the closest thing I tasted to that pie.
Bonus? It is sooo easy to make.
I use this recipe for my dip.
All you need is a can of pumpkin, pie spices, a container of frozen whipped topping and a box of instant vanilla pudding.
You will end up with a light, airy dessert that is mild, sweet and pumpkin-y.
I serve the fluff with gingersnap cookies. For those of you in the Pennsylvania area, I highly recommend Sweetels gingersnaps. But any gingersnap or graham cracker cookie would work. I imagine that even apples would be delicious dippers, too.

Just trust me. It is awesome.
(Note: Someday I want to try the dip in a graham cracker pie crust and freeze it.
