Ceramic bird transformation and a {free} thankful printable

Madigan made...  a thankful printable and cute ceramic birds.

My kitchen cart underwent another seasonal change. The ghosts, the graveyard and the spooky sign are now gone.

But, the simple white pumpkins are together again.
And we have some new additions: a few birds and a new sign.

The birds were a find at Goodwill recently.
I loved the blue (sort of), but I knew they would look fantastic white. All they needed a was a quick coat of spray paint.

For some reason, these birds just looked a little "fall" to me.
Not turkeys, not quite pheasants, but some kind of fall bird?

(Update: These probably are quail. Thank you very much to my smart readers!)

(I realize that you would not see baby birds this time of year.
But it is a 'family.'  I felt that with the holidays, this seemed right.)

I switched out the frame of my frame-in-a-frame again. This time, I made a thankful print (the turkey is from a holiday font in Word). Similar to the Halloween print, I created it on my computer, saved it as a jpg file and had it printed at a local photo shop as an 8x10. I put it in a black frame and hung it onto the bigger frame with picture hanging strips.

Want to use this image? Feel free to click on the photo above, save the file to your computer and get it printed! (personal use only, please)

I did not want to put too much more with the birds on the cart. This is all I put there so far. We use that counter top frequently, so I want the work surface.
I just love the simplicity of the white accessories.
