Madigan made... a Flickr group.
The last Weekend Word Search link party was way back in October! (If you are new here, the WWS is a link party I started to share word or quote related projects that you made.)
If you remember, I kinda gave up on the linky and I am not hosting this party every month. It was just too much work every month for the number of links this little blog could attract.
I mentioned last week that I would like to try and host another party (one more time) to see how it goes.
So, some time in the next month I plan to put up the linky... stay tuned! Get your word/quote projects together.
What is Flickr?
Flickr is an image hosting site that also has an online community, too. (and their Picnik photo editing tool is *free*) There are tons of different groups in the community where you can share your photos based on a subject or theme (food, crafts, decor, black/white, etc).
I upload photos and add them to different groups on the site. I don't think Flickr drives too much traffic to my blog, but it is nice to get feedback over there. (And, the little flashing slideshow of pics in my sidebar is generated by my Flickr uploads. Neat, right?)
So, I decided to create a Flickr group: the Weekend Word Search.
If you can't wait for the upcoming link party, please consider adding a photo of your word or quote related project to the group.
See, it's kinda like an ongoing, never ending link party, right?
Show off your DIY word or quote project. Remember, anything goes, as long as it includes words or quotes used in your home.
(A new phrase on your chalkboard, a vinyl word project, a personal art piece, fun labels, a card etc. Single letters or numbers do not count.)
