The chalkboard is no longer empty (and a few updates!)

Madigan (finally) made...     a chalkboard quote for July & some updates.

Aaaannnd.... the kitchen chalkboard is no longer empty and sad!

If you were here earlier this week, you know I was in a project and writing funk.
I needed your help filling out my monthly chalkboard quote.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your inspiring quotes in my survey! A couple of you mentioned this quote about summer. It is a good one - and seems like a perfect reminder for us to take a moment and relax.

I have to tell you:  I enjoyed blogging this past week. The topics were not my usual  new project or tutorial... but I still had a lot to say!
I plan to mix things up more often - or at least incorporate more non-project posts into my regular rotation.

And I'm slowly getting my crafting mojo back! Woo-hoo!

You know what it took? A can of spray paint.

So, I figured out what to do with the sunburst mirror. And yes, it included spray paint!
If you are a really smart and regular reader here on this blog, I bet you can guess what color I used.
I can't wait to show you!

By the way,
Are you looking for my Friday Feature guest project?
Sorry, I took a break from that schedule, too. Next week I hope to get back on track.

BUT I am ALWAYS looking for ideas to feature -
so please send them my way!

Pretty please? With sugar on top?

I would love to spotlight one of your favorite projects.

Note: My goal is not to repost your entire content here. I want to highlight the project with a few pictures and I'll include my own brief recap of the idea... and then direct my readers to your original post for the full details.

Guidelines for guest/featured posting:
  • Projects should be something Madigan Made readers appreciate: crafts, decor, or recipes. It does not have to be a tutorial, but they are appreciated. If they are simple, even better!
  • The project and content must be your own and created by you.
  • I prefer that the post about the project be older (at least 1 month old) so the topic may be 'fresh' for Madigan Made readers.
  • I am looking for neat ideas... along with clear photos and clear writing/instructions.
  • By submitting an entry to be featured, you give me permission to use some of your project's text/images for the guest post. (all credit and luv will be given to you, of course!)
Look, I even made a cute little form to make it easy to share your post with me:

Show me your awesome projects and share them with my readers!
Believe me, I appreciate your interest!

Note: I also do occasional 'blog swaps'. If your blog is similar to Madigan Made in both readership size and content scope... and you'd like to do a blog swap, feel free to email me! (madiganmade at gmail dot com)
