My blog friend Colleen at Mural Maker & More is an expert with paint. She paints beautiful murals and pet portraits. She loves to teach her readers how to paint, too (like how to paint lilacs).  But she also works with spray paint, too! (my fav tool…)

Colleen created this simple stars and stripes pillow with a canvas drop cloth and spray paint. I love the bold impact of the stars… you could easily make this pillow this weekend and have it ready for your 4th of July BBQ.
